Developmental Screening
To uncover a child’s developmental challenges before they become bigger issues, consider a quick, structured screening to get a snapshot of how they are learning and communicating compared to typical developmental milestones.
Autism Diagnostic Assessment
If you are wondering if your child meets the criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), this comprehensive, gold-standard assessment provides a clear, official answer and unlocks provincial funding and clinical supports.
Speech Language Pathology
For children who are struggling to be understood, SLP helps give them a voice during critical developmental years. Learn the signs of common challenges and discover tools and strategies to help prevent long-term communication barriers.
Occupational Therapy
If you’ve noticed sensory, motor, or daily living challenges interfering with your child's happiness and routines, Monarch House OT helps them develop the foundational skills they need for the "occupations" of childhood: learning, dressing, eating, and interacting with the world around them.
ABA Therapy
One step at a time is the best way to describe Applied Behaviour Analysis Therapy. Monarch Board Certified BA’s break complex developmental milestones into small, achievable steps to help children grow towards daily independence.
Psychotherapy
Monarch House Psychotherapy addresses the unique emotional and social realities of autistic individuals - focusing on mental wellness, emotional regulation, and caregiver support. It’s not about ‘fixing’ behaviour - it’s about building positive self-advocacy.
We work with an integrated service team
At Monarch House, we believe your child should never receive care in isolation. All of our Occupational Therapists (OTs), Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBAs), Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), and Physical Therapists (PTs) collaborate daily to build a single, synchronized plan tailored to your child’s unique communication, sensory, behavioral, and physical needs.
This equips your entire family with actionable strategies and practices to build a single, synchronized plan tailored to your child’s unique communication, sensory, behavioral, and physical needs. Because real growth happens when therapies align beyond our clinic doors.

The Importance of Early Diagnosis
Neurological research confirms that autism can be reliably diagnosed by age 2, with clear markers visible as early as 12 months. This window is critical because early neuroplasticity - the brain's ability to adapt and rewire - is at its peak. Waiting to act compounds developmental deficits. Early intervention can drastically improve your child’s development, helping them gain more skills and independence over time.
